1. Install MacPorts http://www.macports.org/
2. Install Midnight Commander port via one of the variants:
sudo su -
port install mc +ncurses
3. Set proper location
export LC_ALL=ru_RU.UTF-8
Do not forget to add this line to .profile
4. Set up terminal application’s preferences in order to get following terminal type:
TERM=xterm-256color
